Sharon was one of the first celebrities to pay tribute to the beloved designer, sharing a post from Vogue announcing the unhappy news of his passing on Tuesday afternoon.

It's been a difficult time for the Osbournes this Christmas. Sharon was diagnosed with Covid-19 in mid-December and hospitalised for her symptoms. After recovering enough to be released, she spent time away from home to make sure her husband, the rocker Ozzy Osbourne, didn't contract the illness.

On Christmas Eve, Sharon returned to the family home to continue her recuperation, having received two negative test results, and shared a sweet picture of husband Ozzy, fully masked up, excitedly welcoming her back.

On Christmas Day she was joined by her beloved pooches in her bed and treated to breakfast on a tray, as she prepared to celebrate festivities in a low key fashion.

Sharon made sure to inform her fans that she had contracted Covid-19

She's been quiet on social since but was clearly touched by the sad news of Pierre Cardin's passing, which broke on Tuesday evening, European time.

The famed designer was 98 years old when he passed away in a hospital just outside of Paris. Born in Treviso in Italy in 1922, he grew up in France and started his own fashion label in 1950. "RIP #PierreCardin," she captioned her Instagram story.
